MEET SARAH
Most movement problems aren’t muscle problems- they’re communication problems.
Sarah Meinert, often called The Movement Muse and known for her work in longevity-focused movement, is the founder of Ozean Pilates + Wellness. She works at the intersection of classical and contemporary Pilates, performance training, and integrative wellness by helping people build bodies that are strong, responsive, and capable for the long term.
With over two decades of experience, and a background in professional dance, anatomy, and movement science. Sarah has a rare ability to translate complex biomechanics into movement that feels intelligent, intuitive, and empowering. Her works supports everything from post-injury recovery and sports performance to posture optimization, nervous system regulation, and sustainable as the body evolves.
Sarah’s approach blends the art and science of movement with a deeper understanding of longevity, As a Board-Certified Holistic Practitioner, Certified Nutritional Aesthetics Practitioner, BASI Pilates Comprehensive Teacher, and Pre-Post natal and Menopause Coach, she Sarah bridges the connection of movement with skin, gut, and hormonal health, which emphasizes recovery, resilience, and function.
She also serves as a Co-Founding Advisory Board Member of Legacy Apparatus, an Advisory Board Member of the Nutritional Aesthetics Alliance, and Cypress College Foundation Committee Member.
Ozean Pilates + Wellness reflects her philosophy: a private sanctuary for smart, personalized movement—where clients of all ages and backgrounds are guided with expertise, intention, and a commitment to helping them move, feel, and live at their best.
Beyond the studio, Sarah mentors future Pilates professionals, advocates for accessible movement education, and has taught mat Pilates to visually impaired individuals. She has led wellness workshops, Pilates intensives, and restorative experiences, and maintains a long-standing commitment to service through her involvement with Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Sarah currently resides in Southern California, and when she isn't training her dedicated clientele, she enjoys global traveling, a love of food + culture, a belief that movement is not about perfection, but about living well in your body for life.
